Bleach is alive?

Posted by RNS Robot on February 12th, 2010

Xtian geekrock act BLEACH (iTunes) may be alive like Frankenstein. The website bleachisalive.com popped up recently (via frontman Davy Baysinger’s myspace). Rumour is a new Bleach album in 2010…

…WHAT’S THIS? O! Bleach (with an old press photo) is also listed as performing at Cornerstone 2010!

Bleach is one of those bands that truly got better as they aged. If you only know them from the mediocre youth-group friendly Static, you’re missing out. The band’s three releases on Tooth & Nail (not counting the greatest hits CD/DVD package) were all fantastic slices of unpretentious rock with slice o’life lyrics capturing what makes life… well, life. The group never made high art, but they put out sincere, enjoyable anthemic rock that highlighted the joys and sorrows of being human. Also they were fun. I’m stoked for a new album!
